Hear us

We’re looking forward to presenting our summer 2025 programme of music with a Scottish theme. We have settings of Rabbie Burns and traditional Gaelic songs by composers including our founder Sheena Phillips, Hugh Roberton, Cedric Thorpe Davie and Joanna Forbes L’Estrange. We’re also including some innovative contemporary music from James MacMillan, Peter Maxwell Davies and Tom Cunningham. Something for everyone we hope!

Not a concert, but an Open Evening on Wednesday 6th August 2025.

Please come along and hear what we sing, join in with the singing and if you like what we do, you might like to become a member!

You can contact Jane Watson on jpawatson@gmail.com or 07866 229809 for further information, but feel free to just turn up on the night.

Rudsambee is an Edinburgh-based group dedicated to the joy of singing with friends. We have been meeting since 1993. The name comes from the Gaelic expression rud sam bith idir, meaning ‘anything at all’. We sing without accompaniment, in many styles from many eras and many countries - recent repertoire has included music from Hungary, Ireland, Estonia, America, Scotland, Armenia and Russia.

We rehearse in Edinburgh on Wednesday evenings, and we’re currently looking for new singers in all sections.
