Rudsambee — a cappella in Edinburgh: a choir with a difference

Rudsambee is a choir based in Edinburgh. The name comes from the Gaelic expression rud sam bith idir, meaning "anything at all", which represents our eclectic taste in music. Our director is Derrick Morgan.

You can hear us next on Saturday 7th December at 7.30p singing our Christmas concert in Rosslyn Chapel. We'll also be singing 45 minutes of Christmas music in St Giles' Cathedral on Sunday 8th December at 6pm (admission free).

For more future performances, click this link.

After our recent concert in aid of Reverse Rett, they tell us they have received an extraordinarily generous donation from an anonymous member of the audience, who specifically mentioned our event as the trigger for their gift. Our heartfelt thanks to you, whoever you are, and to all of our audience for filling our collection boxes on the night!

We'd be delighted to sing for your function or event. See our contact page for information.

We would welcome a few new members to join us, because our numbers are currently a little below our target size of about 20 singers.

We enjoy occasional exchange visits. If you think your group may be compatible in size and style, and you'd enjoy a trip to Edinburgh, then please get in touch.
