Rudsambee is a choir based in Edinburgh. The name comes from the Gaelic expression rud sam bith idir, meaning "anything at all", which represents our eclectic taste in music.
We have recently (October 2016) chosen a new director: Derrick Morgan takes over from Ciara Coleman, whose career has taken her back to Dublin. We have had four wonderful years of music-making with Ciara, and we will miss her enormously, but we can't keep her in Edinburgh! We still have a world of music to explore, and with Derrick to guide us we are confident of enjoying our singing and entertaining our audiences through the coming years.
Hear us next on Sunday 13th August in St Giles' Cathedral at 6pm: a 45 minute free concert.
Interested in singing with us? We currently have a few vacancies in all voice parts. You can try us out at our open rehearsal in Priestfield Church on Wednesday 22nd February. Please contact us for details. We will be glad to hear from you even if you can't make that date

From time to time, we perform fund-raising concerts for a variety of charities - most recently, in April 2016 with the brilliant Hepton Singers from Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire. Our very generous audience gave a total of over £900 for our chosen charities, Contact the Elderly and Mercy Corps.
We'd be delighted to sing for your function or event. See our contact page for information.
We enjoy occasional exchange visits with groups of singers from elsewhere - most recently, the outstanding Voxcetera from London. If you think your group may be compatible in size and style, and you'd enjoy a trip to Edinburgh, then please get in touch.
